Thompson Enamels - Separation Enamel Powder, 1oz Separation Enamel is painted in a linear design over 2-3 coats of pre-fired transparent and/or opaque enamels, with transparents being the final coat. When fired, the separation enamel changes the viscosity of the area producing a flowing or spreading, somewhat similar to a marbleized effect. Dry and fire at 1450°-1550°F for 2-5 minutes. Medium Temperature – Medium Expansion Enamels in 80 Mesh for Copper, Gold, Silver, Low Carbon Steel & Metal Clay. Normal firing temperature range: 1400-1500°F. Coefficient of expansion range: 258-360 cubic expansion.
